The Chilean song “Un Violador en Tu Camino” was translated by activists living in Gangjeong Village in Jeju Island at the beginning of 2020… here are two Youtube videos they made with a Korean translation of the song. The first part of the lyrics is a critique of patriarchal Korean society. They changed the second part of the lyrics to be more focused on being against the military base, new airport project, and other destructive development projects on Jeju Island. The title of both videos is something like, “As a Jeju Woman, Rise and Jump Up Against the Military Base Resistance Dance”.
